Our Story

Adam Cursio has been a trusted adviser to many loyal families over the past 20 years. The increasing calls for help for property related matters, from within our client base, led to Adam embarking on a career in real estate; complimenting his expertise in the financial services sector.
After obtaining his full Estate Agent’s License in 2010, Adam built a project marketing team of 15 sales agents and sold in excess of $100 million worth of off plan assets within just four years, to local and foreign buyers on behalf of Australian property developers. Sales came from networks of accountants, financial planners, mortgage brokers and legal professionals as well as direct retail campaigns. He also built a rent roll of 70 from settled sales before selling the business.
During this period Adam gained turbo charged knowledge of the sales techniques used in real estate and a deep passion for putting property deals together. Off plan sales agents used to say, “If you thought selling property was hard, try selling one that doesn’t exist”. And it’s true, off plan sales are much more complex to piece together. But although Adam was excellent at selling, these very tactics he learned are what steered Adam off-course as a ‘vendor’s sales agent’. What had become apparent was his bias for buyers, not sellers. H felt it was the buying party who deserved to gain a winning edge and who was more often disadvantaged in the deal. Offering full transparency to buyers and appeasing their needs was far more satisfying than negotiating on the side of institutional investors and property developers. This just came far more naturally and needed to be where Adam’s future in real estate lied.
Adam was trained as a financial planner to advise the entity spending the money, not the institution making a profit from them. He was used to serving the individual, couple or family taking a risk for the betterment of their children’s lives. This achievement is what’s exciting to be part of. And more specifically, helping people to understand their life goals first, knowing how that translates to the right property currently on the market (or not yet on the market) and then going for it when it comes; negotiating well or bidding at auction on their behalf.
